Logistics Administrator

Job Summary:

Bison Commerce is seeking a Logistics Administrator to join our team for a 08:00 – 17:00 shift. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire order journey, from start to finish, ensuring a smooth process and addressing any disruptions during pick-up, transit, or delivery to the end customer. Your goal will be to maximize customer satisfaction, even when challenges arise.

You will communicate effectively with carriers, proactively analyzing ways to prevent service-level disruptions. Collaboration will be key, as you work closely with the Logistics Team, Customer Service, and Supplier Managers to make timely and efficient decisions that enhance delivery quality, reduce costs, and minimize issues.

Your responsibilities will also include tracking key performance metrics such as transit time, damage rates, shipping costs, and cancellation rates. As part of the Logistics Team, you will contribute to continuous process improvement, automation, and problem-solving to enhance our operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Selecting the best shipping cost taking into consideration supplier and carrier compatibility.
  
• Provide shipping documents with all required information.
  
• Oversee shipment status from A to Z.
  
• Identify any tracking errors and fix them.
  
• Initiate claims with the carriers.
  
• Overlook on-going claim statuses and seek resolution.
  
• Ensure delivery on time to end customer.
  
• Collaborate with other departments to seek the most optimal solutions for company operations.
  
• Day shift covering 08:00 – 17:00 hours.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Be proactive in problem solving.
  
• Attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of Logistics or Transportation field.
  
• Experience in the US market: Familiarity with the US e-commerce landscape, consumer behavior and transportation.

Salary

1490-1980 €/mėn. gross
The salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
