eCommerce Data & BI Analyst

Job Description:

We are looking for a data-driven eCommerce Data & BI Analyst to generate business insights from our eCommerce operations and support multiple teams including Logistics, Purchases, Marketplaces, Marketing, and so forth. This is a newly established position within our growing organization, reflecting our commitment to becoming more data-driven across teams. The ideal candidate is both analytically strong and business-oriented — capable of independently extracting data from various sources, visualizing it in Power BI, and providing actionable recommendations. A strong interest in applying new technologies, including AI tools, to improve analysis, automation, and decision-making is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract and analyze data from multiple sources (including MSSQL, APIs, spreadsheets, flat files, and third-party platforms) to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities in supply, demand, and sales performance
• Build and maintain insightful dashboards and reports in Power BI for various business stakeholders
• Translate complex datasets into clear business insights to support decision-making across departments
• Support supply chain, marketing, marketplace, and product data teams with ad hoc and scheduled reporting needs
• Collaborate with leadership to define, track, and optimize key eCommerce KPIs (conversion, availability, GMV, ROAS, etc.)
• Identify gaps in data quality and contribute to improving data pipelines and reporting accuracy
• Experiment with and apply AI-powered tools and techniques (e.g., for data enrichment, forecasting, automation, or analysis acceleration) to enhance business insight generation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a data analyst, BI analyst, or similar role
• Strong SQL skills (MSSQL preferred) and ability to work independently with various data sources
• Experience with data integration from multiple formats (Excel, CSV, APIs, database connectors, etc.)
• Strong expertise in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX formulas, and creating impactful, data-driven visual stories.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders
• Openness to learning and using AI to boost efficiency and insight quality
• English is our working language, so strong skills are important

Preferred Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of eCommerce metrics and business models
• Experience in eCommerce, retail, or supply chain environments
• Familiarity with marketplace analytics tools (e.g., Helium 10, Keepa), Excel Power Query, or Python for automation
• Knowledge of product catalog data structures or marketing attribution
• Previous experience using AI/ML in a business or analytics context is a plus

Salary

3000 - 5100 €/month GROSS based on actual experience
